DTRFAB (Doing Things Right) was founded with a single objective: to design and manufacture high-quality off-road accessories built by enthusiasts for enthusiasts.

Although the DTRFAB brand was officially registered in Miami, Florida in 2020, our history began much earlier. Our roots trace back to 2006 in Venezuela, during a period when the 4x4 industry was experiencing significant growth. At the time, the market faced a shortage of local manufacturers, limited product availability, and a lack of specialized fabrication services. These challenges created an opportunity to build something different and, most importantly, to do things right.

The Story Behind DTR FAB

The story behind DTRFAB is closely connected to the life of its founder, Isaac. From an early age, he spent countless hours helping in his father’s auto parts store and adjacent mechanical workshop. Growing up around both retail and automotive repair provided a unique understanding of the industry from two perspectives: the products customers needed and the practical realities of vehicle modification and maintenance.

While others focused primarily on performance and functionality, Isaac developed a strong interest in vehicle design and appearance. He was fascinated by race cars and off-road builds that performed exceptionally well but often lacked visual appeal and refinement. Long before digital design tools became common, he spent his time sketching vehicles, boats, and aircraft, imagining modifications and improvements inspired by magazine clippings and his own creativity.

As adulthood arrived, those ideas remained only a hobby. After attending university, Isaac launched a computer sales and repair business. Despite his efforts, the venture ultimately failed and was further impacted by multiple theft incidents. What initially appeared to be a setback would eventually become the turning point that redirected his career toward manufacturing.

Where It All Began

The opportunity came through his cousin Joseph, who was involved in the sale of wheels, tires, and off-road accessories. Customers frequently requested aftermarket bumpers and fabrication services, but available options were limited to a few imported brands and only for specific vehicle models. Recognizing a clear need in the market, Isaac started a small fabrication workshop focused on producing custom off-road bumpers and accessories.

The operation began modestly and out of necessity, but from that moment forward it never stopped growing.

Over the past two decades, thousands of vehicles have passed through our hands. We have designed, fabricated, modified, repaired, and improved products for customers who demand durability, functionality, and professional craftsmanship. Every project has contributed to the experience and knowledge that define DTRFAB today.

Today, DTRFAB operates in the United States with modern equipment, advanced fabrication capabilities, and a skilled team dedicated to manufacturing premium off-road products. Our facility brings together design, engineering, cutting, fabrication, assembly, and nationwide shipping under one roof.

Our mission remains the same as it was from the beginning: build products we are proud to use ourselves, deliver exceptional quality, and always stay true to the meaning behind our name—Doing Things Right.
