Engineered to work seamlessly with all DTR FAB front bumpers, this skid plate delivers full underbody coverage from the radiator frame all the way back through the front differential and engine oil pan — protecting the most vulnerable components on your FJ from rocks, ledges, and trail debris.

This is not a cosmetic skid plate. This is a structural protection system built from 3/16" aluminum with internal gussets strategically placed to absorb and distribute impact loads without deforming. When you hit something hard on the trail, this plate takes the hit so your drivetrain doesn’t.

One of the most frustrating things about aftermarket skid plates is having to remove the entire tray every time you need to change your oil or swap your filter. We solved that. The DTR FAB Skid Plate features a built-in access opening that allows you to perform a full engine oil drain and filter change without removing the skid plate. Keep your protection in place.
