The DTR FAB Model T2 is our full tubular front bumper for the Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series and Lexus LX450 — and it is the most aggressive approach-angle build we offer for this platform. Where the Model T combines plate and tube, the T2 goes all-in on tubular construction: lighter, more open, and engineered to maximize your approach angle without sacrificing protection or winch capability.

The T2 raises the winch mount base higher than the Model T, which translates directly into a steeper, more capable approach angle. If you’re running technical terrain where every degree matters, this is the bumper for your build.

Model T vs. Model T2 — Which One Is Right for You?

The Model T features a hybrid plate + tube design with a stinger, upper light mounts, and side covers that protect the exposed A/C filter — ideal for builds that want a more complete, covered look with maximum front-end protection.

The Model T2 is full tube, with fog light mounts, an aluminum mini skid, and a higher winch base for a superior approach angle — the choice for serious trail and rock crawling builds where geometry and weight savings are the priority.
